1942 42 OLDS HOOD EMBLEM MOLDING OLDSMOBILE nice!

Description

Here is the hood emblem from a '42 Olds.  Is chrome-plated, whereas many of the hood emblems for this year were painted, due to wartime shortages.  Is in good condition, actually quite remarkable for its age, and has obviously been in storage for most of its life.  Has no dents or gravel dings, and both mounting studs in the back are intact.  Has chrome that is shiny and free of peeling, and with just a trace of light pitting.  You'll probably want to redo the red paint.
