HERE IS A PERSONAL NOTE, WRITTEN AND SIGNED BY MARTY McHALE.
IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, WITH LIGHT WEAR, AND IS SIGNED ON THE BACK OF A FAN LETTER THAT WAS DATED JAN. 26, 1978.
MARTY McHALE WAS A PITCHER FOR 6 YEARS IN THE MAJOR LEAGUES---WITH THE RED SOX FROM 1910-1911, AND AGAIN IN 1916/WITH THE YANKEES FROM 1913-1916/AND WITH THE INDIANS IN 1916.  HE RETIRED WITH A CAREER WON/LOSS RECORD OF 11-30 AND AN EARNED RUN AVERAGE OF 3.57, WHILE APPEARING IN 64 GAMES.
MARTY McHALE DIED MAY 7, 1979.
