Modeled closely after the original. These rubber buffers are no longer available from the manufacturer so we are excited to offer this as an alternative to scavenging for good used examples in salvage yards.
These snap into place using the original factory holes in the cab. Once installed they prevent the factory dropsides from clattering over rough pavement. If your truck is missing this part, check to see if you have all your gate buffers, which we also produce and sell through another listing.
Doka and Sinkas will have 2 buffers, one for each side of the cab. Do check your vehicle to make sure it still has the mounting holes. It's possible some have been welded up over the years to prevent rust intrusion.
Handmade Parts
This is a 3D printed part so print lines are visible, however they tend to disappear on the truck and are not objectionable.
Do not use anything sharp for installation. If you need extra leverage to pop these in initially, a rounded piece of wood trim or a small blunt tool handle will do the trick. There should be an small but audible 'snap' when these lock into place.
We make these in black, but would be happy to create them in other colors to coordinate with a your custom paint scheme (red, blue and white are also available). Message us and we can work out the details.
